There's a lot of discussion about bundles. Alford anyone have just the internet here? I called Bell and the best they could offer was $68 for 100.

I'm currently with rogers and get 150 service for a bit cheaper. I am looking to switch but I don't want to go slower and pay more....

You may do better with bundles. I have home phone which I haven't even setup yet but only keep it to get a better deal with internet and TV. Without its actually more. You just have to make sure you set reminders to cancel or call in advanced and not get charged full price.

So I managed to get a hold of a Bell executive member and they offered me this (existing customer):

Good TV with à la carte 15 = $42.95
Fibe 25 Internet Unlimited = $47.95
Basic Phone = $19.95

Subtotal is $110.95 before taxes, thoughts?

If you have a small business, you can get good deals on Internet only:

150/150 - $50.95
300/300 - $56.95
500/500 - $61.95
940/940 - $71.95

Hmm. What do I need to prove to have a small business? My wife ran a home daycare last year but quit late 2017.

Those are great prices. I called them and they said my area only has 50 services. Then he tried to tell me that's the same speed as rogers 150!

Your CRA business number will do fine. It has to be a legitimate business, it is not enough to say that you have one.

Does NS even have FTTH speeds? NS is also Bell Aliant unless something changed recently and that is in a way a different subsidiary within BCE
Do you mean FibreOp when you say FTTH? If so, yes. Nova Scotia has had FibreOp (2.0) since 2011. We have up to 1 Gbps/100 Mbps, currently.

typical bell price increase starting in april1 ,2018 (ironic how its on april fools too)
https://www.bell.ca/servicerates

The service rates for the services mentioned below will change effective April 1, 2018.

Every year, Bell invests over $3.5 billion in its network infrastructure. These investments enable us to keep providing exceptional new features, even faster Internet technology, world-class entertainment as well as the capacity necessary to support an exponential growth in the use of communications services. In order to support these investments, we will be adjusting some of our service rates as of April 1, 2018. To verify what changes apply, please refer to the chart below.

+$5 internet
+$2 home phone

I signed a 2 yr contract dec 2016 price was $82.90 for fibe50+basic tv+ homephone(no use but they offered free to reduce cost)+all rentals+ extra receiver. Dont get me wrong for $82.90 thats a steal and spent lots of time negotiating back and forth as a "new customer" wink wink.

then price increase in feb 2017 (all 3 services) and nov/dec 2017 for tv again. now internet+ home phone next. by april my bill will be 99.90 assuming theres no price increase until now til dec 2018. thats a 20.5% increase! i understand a price increase but this is ridiculous thinking about millions of other bell customers and they raking up millions from this!

I am currently with Rogers but am moving to Milton and Rogers doesn't have service there. Any good deals with Bell currently for new customers?

Just got off the phone with Bell as i'm up for renewal on some of my promotions. I was on the better choice bundle, 300/100, home phone for $119. The best he could offer for the exact same thing (with upgraded modem) was $179. lol. I very politely told him i will call back with a cancellation date as soon as i get an new install date with rogers.
