Bell TV + Internet
Hi,
I got Bell Tv over the weekend, the deal I got was the program package with my home phone bundled. With extra savings. I searched the other deals and I think this is a very good offer.
I had to choose between either renting the receiver or buying the receiver. I took note of both and will let you know what they are.
For renting the receiver I get $10 off my total bill for 12 months which is essentially $120 off my bill and then I will get a onetime $100 credit for getting an HD receiver. If I got the SD receiver then I would have saved $50. For renting a second HD receiver I am only paying $3.
The deal for buying the receiver was that I would get 2 SD receivers for free instead of renting it. I looked up the model of the SD receiver and I think it can also be used as an HD receiver.
For both renting and buying the receiver I get 2 months free of one of the premium movie packs. Plus I will get another $75 back after installation.
I also got 3 months of Bell internet for free.
I got it through a local bell representative, you can call them at 416-949-3514.
This offer is good all across Canada.

Bell will never see a penny of my money, no matter what good deal they spit out.

Looks like their Internet offering is still not quite there (high-speed DSL) for Alberta, or at least Edmonton... but I might still inquire about Bell TV - been thinking of switching from Shaw for a while now.
