It's not exactly hard to guarantee 50mbps speeds so it doesn't matter.

That's just an example, They have a guarantee for all their plans. For the 1Gigabit plan, min is 940Mbps

*on a personal note I would rather have 50Mbps with Bell then Rogers 150Mbps plan

Looking to changeover to Bell found bit costly affair. But still good unless they throttle.

Then don't use Bell, use a reseller, simple!

Call and talk to Virgin ( they are same as Bell) they should give you a good deal. No they don't throttle at all.

for something like that, just give carrytel/cannet/cik/start/teksavvy a call. Similar service for probably less

I am pretty sure they are not similar services when it comes to quality but cost less that is for sure.

I called Virgin and all they would offer for 50Mbps is 2 months of free service but would not budge on their monthly cost.

I'm currently using Bell 50u with a hub 3000 modem and I normally get 46 - 48 Mbps download and 10 - 11 mbps upload.

Bell is great for internet service.

Bell is great for internet service.
Most people leave Bell not because of bad service but because it is expensive.

Very true, but at the moment I am paying $65 plus tax for 50M. and with this price they included home phone service, at no cost.

If you agree with my post then why are you contradicting it?

I think in April it will go up by $8 so it will be $73 for you.

Well they did mention it's on a price guarantee for 2 years, but come April if the price does hike then I guess I'll have to start looking.

$8 is for Rogers, Bell is $5 from April. (Please note the monthly fees of Bell Internet services will increase by $5.00 effective April 1st, 2018)

For Bell it would be $5 for the Internet and $3 for home phone. The poster I replied to has both of these services so the price would be going up for him by $8
