Your replica WWF belt is not appropriate for interviews
j/k
If the belt fits through the loops on your pants then you're fine. Just match the colour with your shoes.

don't wear it if it has visible logos, don't wear it if you are using the first or last hole,
and if you are picky... don't wear it if the metal doesn't go with your other metals

there's a rule of thumb, that it's not suppose to be wider than your thumb (not literally). however sometimes wide ones don't look bad (to me) just not as dressy.

It should be fine, as long it you don't wear a belt so big and eye catching that it draws the interviewer's attention to your belt.

wtf. Not wider than your thumb, but not literally? Figuratively as wide as your thumb? I'm not sure if that is the most nonsensical thing I've heard today, but it's close.
1.5" is fine, if your belt loops are sized appropriately.

You are wearing a suit aren't you? They will only briefly see your belt? I care way too much about this stuff and even I wouldn't care. Post about the rest of your outfit, then we can tell you that you are wrong.

And don't wear one of those giant belt buckles either. You're not in a cowboy movie.

As long as the width and length hold up your pants then you're good to go.
