I'm looking for a television in the same range and the best deal I've found is the 46" Dynex for $499.99 at Futureshop which was running before Christmas.

Best "/$ at least.

I found the Vizio 46" tv on dell is the best deal with free shipping. It cost me 699.99 before enviro. fee and tax.

if you game or want to use it as PC get LG 42ld450 at Futureshop for $499, i own this but paid $699 about 7 months ago and its probably best tv for gaming with no ghosting when the picture moves, low input lag and text is extremely sharp and easy to read like most computer lcds yet doesn't suffer from viewing angle issues

...just make sure its IPS panel, to find out you want to look at packing code - 42LD450-UA.CCCWLH after the CCC if the letter is a W its an IPS panel

The same LG from newegg is at Sears for the same price. Bonus for me is there's no shipping charge (well.. $3) and it's delivered to my corner store a few mins away.

Just make sure to transport that tv home properly when you pick it up.
