I remember some year where they didn't have tax? Or, sometimes they have deals where they don't have tax so that's why I'm asking.

td website is now listing the drive for $125 then minus $40
so with taxes its about $102.
I think that neither fs/bb can beat this deal..........

Agree. TD WD 200MB $84.97 after $40 MIR is far better than WD 160GB $89.99 after $75 MIR that you get on Boxing Day at those chain stores.

But doesn't shipping bring it close to the price of the 250 gb at FS at $129 AR? Although you'll probably pay a lot more in tax.

Tax is a killer...
269.99
310.50 after taxes
170.50 AR
So it breaks down to 0.682 per gig
TD is 115.43 AR = 0.577 per gig.
Only question is if you'll get the drive in time for the rebate now. Only reason I passed.
