[Best Buy] 2017 LG OLED TVs -B7, C7, E7 models. 55 and 65 in, Up to $2,000 off.

Just walked into a best buy and noticed that the 2017 LG OLED models were up on display, it was the 55 inch C7 model to be precise. What surprised me was that it was $1,000 off. I asked the store rep to double check the price to make sure it wasn't the 2016 prices that were being displayed, and as it turns out, all the 2017 models are on sale. Discounts range from $1,000 to $2,000. These TV's are not cheap by any stretch, but OLED technology represent the best picture quality available right now for televisions for those in that market segment, and to get this kind of discount just as the models are barely off the assembly line makes this a Hot deal.

A shame that Costco doesn't carry these :( Bestbuy's warranty is just way too expensive

Hopefully the 55" model is $2400 by Black Friday/Boxing day. Of the top of my head, it was around that price last year

Can confirm. I just purchased a brand new 65" E7P model for $4200 yesterday. $3888 was the quote for the B7P. Was told C7P is Best Buy exclusive.

I have a feeling these are going to be closer to regular prices this year.. i.e. my $4200 looks good today, but come black Friday maybe $3500 (or less).

This is an interesting line up LG did with the oleds this year. All series have the exact same panel and driver. All you're doing is buying the casing. Makes zero sense to me. I was set on buying the G7 till i found this out. Might as well just get the B7 unless one cares about the built in speakers.

I was quoted $5680 for the 65" G7 and $4100 for the 65" E7. Haven't committed otherwise I'm sure I can squeeze more lol. 77" is out of reach at $20k+ :(

Actually I noticed there was a brief time 1 OLED LG model showed up on Costco.ca. It was a 65", so maybe they were writing in the webcoding in the background and it will show up eventually.

*Edit - Here is the product link, obviously nothing shows currently.

I swear I saw the 65 B7 on costco.ca the other day, but it's not on their site anymore...I know Costco sells them in the US, so I'd keep my eye out on their .ca website.

The cost was $5,999 - so higher than BestBuy

$4200 vs $4999, excellent opportunity to price match!

At my local BB there's the 55" C7 at 3,000, as mentioned by the OP, but also a B6 at 2,300. What would you guys do? Is the difference between models worth 700 in your opinion?

Thanks!

The guys at digital foundry made a good case for the B6 models from 2016.

I'd say get the B6, enjoy the extra $700 in your pocket, and still get the picture quality that is a leap ahead the best LEDs out right now.

I have seen the 55 inch B7 at London Drugs as a manager sale for $1999. Check on weekends and ask for the price, as they don't put tags on anything for manager sales.

That's insane! I'd gladly return my b6 to save $300 for the b7.
