From the Manufacturer
The 1920 x 1080 resolution of this LED monitor delivers excellent detail, making it perfect for advanced HD productivity and multimedia applications. LED monitors also consume less power and last longer than those with CCFL lamps. In addition, this monitor is mercury free, making it safer for the user and the environment. This technology allows the user to connect a mobile device like a smartphone or media player to this monitor and play content from the mobile device without having to do any setup procedures. This cable connection also charges the battery of the mobile device while the media is being played. The frame of this monitor is very thin (only 2.2 mm), which creates a "floating" effect: visual experiences without boundaries. This also makes zero frame monitors ideal for building "video walls" consisting of two or more monitors placed side-by-side and/or on top of each other, for seamless enjoyment of large-scale imagery. This monitor uses liquid-crystal technology that delivers advanced in-plane switching, for premium color performance. IPS involves arranging and switching the molecules of the liquid crystal layer between the glass substrates of an LCD screen.

I agree, I use 1440p myself, I don't think there are a lot of 1440p >=27" priced below $200 though...

Unless you have a really bad graphics card, isn't freesync kind of useless on a 1080p 75Hz display?

Well if you came to my driveway 2 days ago I just left out 3 to be salvaged - otherwise, those deals happen every year during major sales, don't really even have to try hard. Admittedly they weren't 27 inches

Looks like the deal is dead? See it listed as $279.99.

Regardless, not bad if you're a console gamer and holding out for a 4K monitor for the next gen consoles.

Edit: NVM, deal starts on Nov. 21.
