Do ya'll think there will be better deals during Christmas/Boxing Day this year for a similar type of build? (perhaps on Dell's website, BB or Costco)
Basically, is it worth it to wait a few more months, or pull the trigger right now for a build like this?

Same here, a third PC would be overkill lol.

How much would this cost if you built it yourself?

And is the case/motherboard limiting if you want to upgrade?

these are high end gaming parts if you need to upgrade in the future, you'll want ddr5 so you will have to change the motherboard. it is a big case, any atx mobo should fit in this case if that's what you're asking.

Considering DDR5 RAM has yet to become commercially available, you will not, in fact, need it.

And you definitely shouldn't replace your CPU and MB for a RAM upgrade.

what I am saying is that is a high end part in fact the next time you will want to upgrade in 4-5 years you will want to upgrade the ram ddr5 mobo and cpu at the same time it will most likely be a whole new computer but you can still keep the psu/hdd case if they are still in good shape.

anyone know the mobo its coming with? and if will have space to add an additional 2x8GB RAM. was planning to build a rig by parts but I remember this rig was posted up a while back and people said it would be competitive price:cost as a prebuilt compared to building part by part.

Please don't feed in incorrect information. Heck, ddr3 is still very relevant.

The Aurora R8 will not support any ATX case and is not a big case by any means. It is VERY tight in there and only mATX is supported.
