Been looking for mechanical keyboard but don't know much about them.

Which would you recommend that aren't noisy?

I remember my friend had one that didn't have the clicking sound... Brown keys or something. Not sure if still considered mechanical?

Try looking for cherry mx brown switches I believe. Also you can install these little rubber o-rings on the bottom of each key to hushen the clicks.

You want to look at the switches. This seems like a good article regarding it https://www.pcgamer.com/best-mechanical ... or-gaming/

While some switches are actually designed to make noise any keyboard can make noise if you type hard enough (bottoming out, where the key hits the base of board). Generally it's there are three kinds, clicky, non clicky, and tactile bump. The rest is the force required to activate the switch. In terms of noise level the non clicky switches without the bump are quieter. You can also get o-rings or dampeners to give you even less noise - these serve to minimize the sound from bottoming out.

It’s probably one of the worst mice I’ve ever used lol. Literally returned it after 2 hours.

Look for Logitech keyboards with the Romer G switches as they're much quieter as well.

I've had a few mechanical keyboards (razer blackwidow green, cmfire red, corsair k70 Brown) but my all time favorite is the Logitech g810, the romer g keys are a delight to type on, less loud than cherry brown. Bang for buck the g810 is hard to beat, and goes on sale regularly for 99$, it doesn't have macro keys like the g910 though, but has a smaller footprint on your desk

Best way to fine what you like is to really go in store and try the keyboards.
