[Best Buy] Best Buy Mobile Plans 10GB for $75 (BYOD)

I believe this is this same as last year but $15 more expensive (of course). Deal listed for Koodo Fido and Virgin only this time around vs pretty much everyone being involved last year. From the looks of it, I wouldn't be surprised if you can get a device on top of it (especially with Koodo that does it via tab)

Consider this warm depending if you weren't able to take advantage of last years deal or the Public Mobile deal.

Wow another year and an increase of $15 all things being equal !

I want to blame all the suckers the telcos managed to hook with their 3G plans for this crazy situation.

Unsure of the logic for the above? Those same “suckers” wouldn’t pay over $50 for a plan. Therefore you wouldn’t see them on that old $60/10gb plan.

Meaning the main brands aren't competing with Freedom this time - only flanker brands - with reduced speed.

This argument is always used by Robellus - the other brand doesnt have our supreme service etc...

At least it was better than back then when you call in they flat out say "we don't compete with Wind"... *shrugs*

I thought this was a standard plan now.
Fido's been offering me this whenever I log into my account since October.
For the same price I get offered a 10GB BYOD or a Medium TAB for $75 and for $10 more it's a Large TAB plan.

Did main brands ever compete with Freedom? The old $60/10GB was sparked by Koodo, which for some odd reason got main brand to join in.

Bell/Telus/Rogers have no reason to compete with Freedom, thats what bottom feeder brands are for.

Even Freedom isn't competing with Freedom this year. And given the amount of outage notices from their twitter account, sounds like GTA Freedom users are regretting their decision last couple of weeks.
