Argh!!! I just finished my "family" dinner and I missed all the fun.
Not many deals this year anyways.
I got my order for a stick of 256MB RAM and 256MB SD card. And that Mercury MP3 player for $20. I think I am happy for now.
Now <a href=../autolink/redirectpage.php?linkid=28 target=_blank>NCIX</a> and FS load!!! RFD is doing better than I expected! But then I thought they could do better, especially when I saw Derek's post about the flyers being on another server...
Anyway, congratulations to RFD for holding up!!!

No tricks really. I just refreshed the page every few seconds. It first showed regular price with 0 units left. Then sale price with 0 units left. So I knew they were going to switch it on soon. The moment they did, I had my credit card and personal info already typed out in Notepad, copy, paste and I'm done. With a couple of minutes to spare before midnite.

Yeah, I think they messed up. I went in a couple of mins early to set up my account and stuff. Also wanted to get the product page setup. Lo and behold, my item was in stock about 2 mins before midnight._______________

I want to thank Rehan and JayPatel for the heads up
. I was simply going to wait for 9 PST but once JayPatel posted the price updates I kept refreshing until stock popped up. I prioritized the items I had to have and checked out after I got each into my cart. Boy, was check out slow even with already being signed up with everything setup a few hours ago. My first transaction confirmation showed 20:55 PST. When I got the fuji DVD into the cart there were 44 left, after multiple checkout critical errors I finally got through. (Makes me think of the Simpsons Halloween special where Homer gets cut off from TV in the mansion and goes nuts...) I double checked the rebates just in case and they were all fine for the 24th.
Personally if I had waited till 12 EST I would be mighty upset at how so many things would have been sold out or gone before checkout.
Once again thanks to RFD. Now to find some hidden online gems that weren't advertised..._______________

BestBuy had a similar pricing problem with the desktops. The eMachines T2862RA desktop with the 17"monitor was 399 before 100$ rebate.
