If no one matches or beats last year's boxing day sale for the samsung 43" 720p plasma tv at $299, I'm gonna be so unimpressed.
^ this

I bought one of those last year and was hoping for something similar this year

This is really getting ridiculous with all these so called deals. Waiting for BB/FS full flyer. I have the feeling this ingesting too long and I'm really starting to lose hope.

Yes, it was 299$ whith no ecofee in quebec at leon's !!!! Not 399$. Sorry

By the way its the first boxing day with ecofee in quebec. And it seem to destroy all that suposed tv deal!,, this lg is inferior than the 43" leon samsung

it's not like the ecofee is going away. if you don't buy a tv now, you're still paying the eco fee later.

best bet is to not worry about it, it's not something you can avoid now, and there's no going back.

The Asus 15'' Ultrabook may be good for someone looking for something light and slim for web browsing. Would have been on it but integrated video card :(

Jawbone jambox is decent deal...

I wish the whole flyer would be released at once... get the disappointment out of the way quickly.. like pulling a bandaid...

and pay for shipping, go for it.

my point was that having an ecofee doesn't make these deals bad. it sucks you have an extra charge, and your out of pocket price goes up, but i don't think it's fair to bash the stores sales because of that. should we all buy stuff from alberta to avoid paying pst? or furthermore does that make something sold in ont for the same price as something sold in alberta not a deal anymore because of the extra tax?

if you are able to get around the ecofee and get a better price, good for you. i would too if it was worth it. i'm sure everybody here would. but it's hard to blame bestbuy for any of this.

Umm, yeah except the Chromebook isn't 15'', doesn't have the power nor the build quality, and doesn't run Windows. Obviously you can do a lot more than just web browsing with the Asus, I just wasn't going to list them. The two aren't close to being comparable.
