$270 off the 13.3" i7 w/8GB of RAM was pretty decent: ... a86628en02
Unless you have a great need for an optical drive on the go, I wouldn't touch that machine. $1200 for a laptop with a 1280x800 display, a spinning HDD, and 3rd gen Core.

Comparatively, for 10% more, you could get a rMBP with 2x the display resolution and a much better panel, a SSD, 4th gen Core, much better battery life, much thinner and lighter, and better graphics performance. It'll be a light, longer lasting, and generally faster machine than the old MBP. I'm surprised Apple's even keeping it around.

Is $39.99 a good price for the Sennheiser In-Ear Headphones (CX 275s)?

Picked up a tv from best buy today and the screen is all cracked. I'm assuming there should be no problem doing a return tomorrow...
Just to follow up I exchanged the TV today with no hassle, they didn't even check the tv i was returning

All the BB and FS stores were closed today in calgary, anyone know why? Never seen that, would imagine today would have been a big sales day.

I found some good things at Best Buy today:
Polk Audio powered 10" subwoofers
psw108 for 89.99
psw110 for 94.99
I have had the PSW108 for a few years and have no complaints. I think I paid more than this in US dollars, then had to drive over the border and pay a fee to pick it up. the current selling price on is 179USD.
The PSW110 is the #1 seller in home audio subs on the "list" price is 239.95 and it is currently 79.99 USD

A powered subwoofer makes a big difference in a home theatre setup
I do not think you can go wrong with either of these at these prices. ... +subwoofer

good prices on usb 3.0 thumb drives: 32gb for 16.99 and 64gb for 29.99

philips 39" 1080p tv for 299.99

insignia 24" 1080p tv for 129.99 (one good thing about smaller TVs is the eco fee is much less , the eco fee on a 32" and above is like $30 in BC)

has anyone compared these on a price per square inch basis to the toshiba 50" for just under $500?

philips aquatouch plus shaver 49.99

d-link N router model N-300 for 17.99

Rocketfish 12 watt USB charger that plugs into a car cigarette lighter socket 4.99

Picked up the Macbook pro for boxing day, however went the PC route.
It is still in the box, unopened.

Specs : I7 2.9Ghz/8GB/750 GB

It was sold out online, so wanted to offer it to anyone on RFD at cost. It is 1200 + taxes. It is $270 off regular price.

seriously, this year was the weakest boxing week sale from FS/BB... and they aren't even having a new year sale to make up for it. ever since BB bought FS they slowly both turned to crap.
