[Best Buy] Dell 27" WQHD 144Hz 1ms GTG TN LED G-SYNC Gaming Monitor (S2716DG) - $469.99

Great price on a great monitor if you are looking for G-Sync.

Edit:
Edit 2: OOS online now, not sure about store stock though. I have read that you can phone Dell and they will match the price and you can buy direct. People have been doing this to ensure they get the latest build date with the newer AAx hardware versions. YMMV though.

Pretty good price for the monitor. There might be an ebates for bestbuy also. There should be a price drop on 1440p resolution monitors given the 4k 144hrz hdr monitors coming out soon

Such a strong internal / psychological conflict in my head:
144Hz - Yay
TN panel - Bummer

Buy now, think later?

Read the review I linked. On there, and other places, people have made this TN panel look very good with some OSD setting tweaks and a custom ICC profile.

I have had this monitor for a few years now. I don't know if there has been any refresh, but at the time I got it for $598.77 (+ Tax - 10% ebates - 5% EPP discount code) in Sept. 2016 ... I think my all in cost was 586.89 after rebates.

Even out of the box, this is a super nice monitor with G-Sync.

Small things to note about this is that it'll route audio to the device any time you do a clean install of the drivers, even if that's not what you want. I don't even think that's specific to G-Sync ... maybe displayport. But just something to note for those that do get it, you might need to check your default audio devices after a driver update if you have no sound.
If my post has helped you out, gimme a thumbs up! Buy/Sell/Trade with Confidence!

Saw the price and instantly bought one. Been eyeing this particular model for the last 2 years, and can confirm this is the lowest I've ever seen it.
Pros: 144hz, 1440p, 27", 1ms response time
Cons: TN Panel, but from my thorough research, there are some simple colour corrections that can be applied to make it look pretty good.

IMO, even on the quarterly sales where it goes for ~$510, it was the already best you could get for the price. At this even lower price, it is LAVA HOT

Thanks OP!

There's nothing you can do to correct for viewing-angle-induced colour-shift. It's a TN panel limitation.

ICC Profile is just there to assist with colour calibration. It covers the sRGB gamut sufficiently well: http://www.tftcentral.co.uk/reviews/dell_s2716dg.htm

But there's nothing you can do regarding the colour-shift.

Fortunately I play my game staring at it straight like a hawk, the focus is real, the only viewing angle I have is on the eyes of my enemies. Lmfao. Can't wait to play overwatch and cod on this

Fair enough. You were not specific with your reason for hesitating with a TN panel and many people complain about color rendition not viewing angle. When I'm doing anything at my computer I'm positioning the monitor so I'm lined up at the ideal viewing angle. I can see how viewing angle could be an issue if you wanted a multiple monitor setup.
