[Best Buy] Global Chef's Knife and Shears ~$93 after PM (don't forget EBates)

https://www.bestbuy.ca/en-ca/product/gl ... 71417.aspx
https://www.costco.ca/Global-Knife-and- ... 64986.html

$110 at Costco
$275 at Bestbuy
= $93.50 after PM

It is best to PM instead of using the masterpass offer at Costco.

QTY left at Bestbuy is 42 at the time of this posting.

Do not forget to use Ebates (2 or 3% right now).

The Chef's knife is really good. Don't know about the shears yet but I figure this is a better deal than the $80 Chef's knife + sharpener since you get shears instead for about $13 more.

I got 5...
I have noticed that Bestbuy will adjust prices when they start seeing PM requests...
It's best to do your PM request by phone because it gets looked at right away instead of requesting it online.

Thanks! I bought from Costco using masterpass, may I ask why it's better to use Bestbuy PM?

10% of the difference is $16.5, while masterpass is a $20 discount.

You would have to get the right CS agent at Best Buy to allow a price match with Costco!! Even though you can buy online at Costco without a membership - try getting them to understand that (especially when they will feel like you are ripping this money out of their personal pocket).

The shears are incredible. Very sharp. I only use them for food, meat, bones, etc not paper, cardboard, etc.

I've PM'ed against Costco.ca 2 times in the last several days without a problem. I'm pretty sure it has to be Costco.ca, not Costco the warehouse.

That is a really good deal, PM or not, the shears retail for at least that I believe.

I guess to save Masterpass promo for something else?
I forgot to include that Ebates apply here (2 or 3%) so you actually come out ahead in Bestbuy.

I'm not sure if eBates is applied to the $275 or $93. And not sure if it ends up being 2 or 3 % but that's at least $3.50 back right there in the worst case...

they denied my price match request for the sharpener combo saying it was a "hot buy" as indicated by Costco, more like their excuse is hot garbage.

It's not even a hot buy at Costco.ca. Call again and try a different agent.

*If* you have Executive Costco membership, you're also getting 2% cash back. Return policy is also something to consider.

I got denied with the sharpener combo. This one you posted, should work no problem. Unless you get doorknob agent.

Good deal but I prefer the $80 deal with the sharpener especially with the masterpass promo or voucher.
