Never had Jawbone up, but i had Razer nabu X for a month. It is not for me, and i really dont know why anyone need it. for 30 dollars, you can try it and see if it works for you.

heads up -- they seem to be on the third gen, and they stopped shipping the first gen after a few months due to quality complaints, and went and redesigned it, so i'd suggest buyer beware here

There were actually 2 generations of the original UP, before the UP24 came out (which has now been replaced by the UP2). But yeah, even the 2nd gen UP had a lot of quality issues, from what I recall.

I'm relatively happy with my UP24. It has the best app out of the fitness trackers. Shame it has no display for time. (For reference, I also have a Nike Fuelband, Garmin Vivofit, Apple Watch Sport, Pebble)

Doesn't do notifications and only 10 day battery life, what makes this a good deal? Does it track something other than sleep and steps?

I kinda prefer my wife's Fitbit app to my UP app. But that could just be a personal preference thing, either.

Hey guys,

This isn't the UP24, I would read up on some reviews on this before buying even at $20.

The software support for the miband isn't nearly as good as that for the UP. But that doesn't mean much if your UP breaks in 3 months.

DYJ was right, this is not worth it even at $20. The step counter is very inaccurate, said I did 11,000 steps when there is no way I took over 2000 steps. It does not track sleep automatically, it never uploads any data when I sync. Its ugly as sin, lol, my co-work keeps making fun of it.

In short, buy the Mi Band if you are looking for a $20 fitness tracker.
