[Best Buy] LG 29" Ultrawide IPS 75 Hz [Price increased from $200 to $250]

I think an ultrawide for $200 is a good deal AND it's IPS AND FreeSync. Visit link for more technical specifications.

Edit: The monitors at $200 went out of stock but now they've come back and jacked up the price to $250. Not sure if this is a good deal anymore, there could be better alternatives out there.

Love the extra wide for when im playing games. Also if movies are in 21:9 aspect ratio, you dont get the black bars on the top or bottom.

Had this monitor for a yr now and im very satisified with it.

Warning: if you go ultrawide, you will never go back. I had this monitor and now I'm at the M340CLZ. Am very happy.

not 144hz, if you're into that for games.

+1 ultrawide is amazing. i have an acer x34 predator myself and would never go back.
$200 for a 29" seems like a deal if you don't need 144 Hz.

Probably a dumb question but considering there's no mounting holes on the back is there another way to mount these type of things? I wanted to do a 2 or 3 monitor setup.
there is mounting holes tho

I bought this when ebay had that 20% off ($263 with the tax). So this is a great deal!! Too bad I won’t need a second monitor. Just an FYI it is 2560 x 1080 resolution. I can open 3 documents at once (which is good for reading multiple papers at once). The downside obviously is that it is not 1440 (it looks short in comparison to my partner’s monitor which is 1440). But regardeless, its great for gaming that support the wide screen. Cannot complain for the price + quality that you get for this. I do not play much games, but so far it looks really good with games like Final fantasy (that does support the wide screen).

I agree, been looking for a monitor to upgrade my 10 year old monitor and I'm happy to pull the trigger. Thanks OP!

I can't decide between ultrawide vs. dual monitors. Anyone with input after experiencing both?

Mostly doing productivity work (word processing, doc review, spreadsheet), browsing and the occasional gaming.

I brought an ultrawide to work to use as a dual. And then I stacked one of my work monitors on top just for outlook and whatsapp web to be open all day.
(before anyone asks why I don't have a triple: my work is cheap and won't upgrade my graphics card)
