I've been debating between this and the K380 (currently $29.49) for a while, anyone prefer one over the other? I like the trackpad on the K400, but kinda love the 3 device switching on the K380, but also heard typing on the K380 is horrible.

I have the K380 because I would take Bluetooth over proprietary wireless protocols any day. Also, with K380, you can use it with your smartphones to type long messages or edit spreadsheets. If you pair a Bluetooth mouse with K380, you can transform your smartphone into a serious computer.Smiling Face With Open Mouth

Why not put the term "keyboard" in the title?

Logitech makes a lot of different products. Are we all supposed to know what a K400 is?

Waiting for k600 to go on sale. It has wifi and bluetooth, track pad and 3 device option. That's the true successor of k400.

Easy on the snide remarks and rolleyes.
Plenty of titles in the forum that don't tell you it's a display, a phone, a game, or a kettle.
Op did due diligence and provided link. You wasted more time and words here, than it would take to web search, or simply click a link. If it really offends you, downvote in protest and be done with it. Moderator has visited thread and edited op post, adding aditional link. He obviously had no other problem with it. But now, because this is an issue for some, he might add it.
Now at least you know what logitech k400 is.

I wonder if this keyboard will ever drop below $15.

I agree it's common on RFD to have these titles that just say a brand, a cryptic model number, and (maybe) a price. It makes browsing the forum more difficult. I just think if you're posting about a great deal on a keyboard, why not have the word "keyboard" in the title?

I'm not the only one who opened this thread not knowing what a K400 is. This isn't an attack on the OP - it's a problem with at least 10 or 20% of the threads on RFD, and especially common with electronic posts. Just a statement of frustration with how often I have to go into a thread not knowing what the item is just to check if I may be interested. But why not simply make thread titles that are helpful to everyone, including RFDers who don't know the model number naming systems for every electronics company?

Does this come with a USB dongle or is it connect via bluetooth?

If it has bluetooth connectivity, I wonder if it can connect to an ipad pro?

It's not just a keyboard, it includes touchpad as well.

K400 gotta be $20 to be hot, this is warm.

Surprised there are peeps who not know about the K400. Been talked about in Hot Deals for years.
