[Best Buy] Logitech K600 $59.99

First time I've seen this on sale. It's been pretty much $90 since launch. Also 2.5% from ebates.
Same price on Amazon but you only get 1% back.

I think RFD crowd is pretty saturated with keyboards due to the $30 K830
I was going to say this too. Lol I've barely used that one and I still like this one. Uglier though, Imho.

This is much better than the k830. Supports multiple devices and 1.5 years of battery life as opposed to recharging every 10 days. And then when the lithium battery dies your keyboard is dead.

I'd love to give this one a try.

I also have the K830 from the sale. It looks great. But I miss the mouse click on the left side of the keyboard (now it's on the top, instead of the face).

But I wouldn't get a K600 at this price. Since I still have an old K400.

I've been using the k830 everyday since the sale and haven't recharged it yet though I admit I seldomly use the backlit keyboard function.

the official specs do list 3 months per charge.

on a side note, this is twice the price of the better K830, so multi-device connection (not that it will ever disconnect with my living room TV) or lithium ion battery life expectancy isn't a concern since most of us got two at $30 each

the problem with lithium ion batteries is that they lose capacity over time, whether you use them or not. So if you have an extra one, it will probably die at the same time as your primary one, in 10-15 years probably

If you have an extra one and don't use it, and don't keep it partially charged (preferably 50%) it might enter deep discharge and completely die. I had that happen to me with a laptop battery once. It deep discharged while sitting in a box and it couldn't be charged at all.
