Best Buy Not Crediting Reward Zone Points
In November my sons friend broke my laptop so decided to go to Best Buy to take advantage of the $75 reward zone gift certificate for purchase over $500. The points have been showing as pending for over 36 days now and still not on my account. Also pre-ordered 2 copies of Call of Duty Black Ops and was to received 800 points ($10 rz certificate) each. These are not showing on my account all, not even as pending. Phoned last week and she claimed would look into it. Still nothings been done. Have emailed and recieved email back asking for order# which I emailed back and never received a response. Have sent 3 more emails which have since been ignored. Is this normal???? Is anyone else having this problem???? Is this type of false advertising par for course at Best Buy?????

Promotion points don't show up as pending. They just randomly add it to your account somewhere between 20-40 days from purchase date.

I'm on day 37 of the $75 gift cert promo, hoping it'll clear soon... original purchase was made Nov 5 but everything is still in pending status

I've had all sorts of issues with their Reward Zone program. First my purchases didn't even show up on my Reward Zone account. Then when I called in, it took close to a half hour to get them to manually add them. They were two relatively large purchases over separate days, so I was surprised they could not initially find either one of them in their system. Even now, although they have credited me the points, I still cannot see the actual purchases in my account. Now my points just show as "pending" even beyond the 36 or so days they should be there. I've been told to wait a bit longer to see if they mover over from "pending" My personal experience has not been a good one with them on this program.

BB has been very sneaky about bonus rewards zone points. BB hopes you'll forget about it. by day 30, you probably would have given up in calling and at that point, you cannot return the item too.

k finally after many ignored emails, got my points. Told them posted a thread at redflag deals. They emailed back right away, posted the points from the preordered games, but not the points for the $75 for spending over $500. Emailed today and within a half hour said they were going to escalate. Signed in tonight and the points are no longer pending. yay. The power of redflagdeals

Just to update, points from Nov. 5 purchase are only showing as posted, day 45 and still waiting for the certificates that were supposed to be there in 36 days, 2 more ignored emails, and want to purchase an ipod to take advantage of the the 2000 rewardzone points and apply the total $125 in certificates once they follow through with their promised rewards.

You'll be fine after Jan 2nd... BB has extended return policy which started November 4th. So obviously they don't want people using the RZ Certificates and then return the original item they purchased. So just wait till then and you'll get your certificate. This goes for everybody here...

While that makes logical sense, I'd be shocked if they had coded in such measures. I haven't had the impression that they were that competent, god knows they have only a few actual Rewardzone specialists.
I'm in the same boat myself though.
