Well yes and no, 26 - 36 fps. It clearly needs optimization. Whether it'll be playable in the future, is an open question.

The presenter readily admits it's not ready for prime-time I'm providing proof of concept for additional consoles.

The following run as stable builds with high FPS:
PSOne
SNES
NES
MAME

I may be missing one or two consoles in that list.

I told myself I would buy it if it hit $30 but I'm reconsidering my decision. I think I am just going to stick it in the closet and that $30 could have gone towards booze Smiling Face With Sunglasses

I snagged a Playstation Vita TV back when they were around for $25-$30 so I don't really need one of these for emulation, but I'm kind of tempted to buy a PS Classic just for the casing and the controllers. Could maybe rip the guts out and use the casing for a fun project down the road.

Crap. Although I'd feel confident enough to mod this to add games, I don't really think I'd be playing many playstation games, period. The only ones I'd consider are SOTN, Puzzle Bobble/Puzzle Fighter and maybe Street Fighter. My walmart purchase is going back (and I won't bother for $30).

If you like RPGs you'd be looking at Final Fantasy 7-9, Final Fantasy Tactics, Chrono Cross, Suikoden 1+2, Xenogears and more.

Of course FF7-9 and Tactics have had a bunch of ports of varying quality to newer hardware.

includes ANALOG controllers? WTH? Not even Dual Shock controllers.
Uh, no, they come with DIGITAL (D-PAD) controls. NO ANALOG controllers.
You can get those power adapters (USB 5V/1A) for like $1. I have tons of them.

Out of all the complaints about PS Classic, yours aren't even worth batting an eye about.

OG psx1 controllers didnt have dual shocks.
This is looking pretty good for an arcade/n64/snes emulator with controllers for $30.
