manager said match it with just my phone showing the price, said unless they hear something from higher up they are just matching it, was really easy and quick
So, I should go back and get my price match even though The Source is OOS?

Got mine price matched at Best Buy for $19.99. I didn't realize until after I paid that it should've been $18.99 with the extra 10%, but i can't be bothered to go back for a correction.
I just got PM from the source as well. 18.99 is what I got it too. It should be correct. Not sure how the other guy got it for 17.99. 10% of $10 is $1. So, 19.99 - 1 = 18.99.

I had an old $10 e-gift card for 2 years in my email.

Final price = $11.46

BB already sold ~4k of those online (stock yesterday was >10k, now ~6k)
With all those sales I don't think it will last on shelfes for too long and I don't really see it's going below $20. I also don't see Sony producing any more batches with such a failure launch.

also doesn't look like amazon has any stock left, since they would have most likely matched best buy's price. it's all third party resellers fulfilled by amazon now.

the ps classic would sell out in no time at $19.99 (re:the source this morning), so I can't see it dropping below $20 anytime soon if ever.

I can't imagine any retailers will want to replenish stock of the Playstation Classic. Sony will probably discontinue production of the Playstation Classic if it hasn't already.

I wonder if this will have any collector value in a few years because of its short life. Kind of like the Nintendo Virtual Boy, which also failed very hard but can be worth a lot nowadays if found in new condition.

I just came back from Best Buy in Oakville (Winston Park) and was able to PM with The Source. Paid $18.99 plus tax, with no problem! I believe they still had a bunch in stock.

Folks are running and stores are stocking out.

I've already run into a few RFDers during my travels.

Priced match at best buy for 19.99 empress walk no hassle
Best Buy Empress Walk isn't even checking if the Source has stock. Just tell them you want to PM to the Source.
