I asked for PM twice online chat and they checked exactly as that. They added the product to the card on Bestbuy and they aknowledged lower by $30 BUT their comment was they do not PM general promotional discount. They only PM product to product if the price is lower without other offer. I do not want to dispute.

Congrat on your purchase. I am going to bite BB package as I am out of luck with HD.
I just tried, same results.

This is their "monitoring package"...
You can definitely build you own setup cheaper.
how and where?

Thanks, I'm aware of the packages. He was mentioning how he can build his own equipment set up
What @vkizzle mentioned is about the cost involved. Buying sensors and building our own setup costs cheaper(non RING setup).

Correct.
Self monitoring via door, window and motion sensors using ST for push, sms or email notifications.
Better yet, using an existing DSC home alarm system , you can plug in an envisalink module and be fully independent from the monitoring company.

That's assuming you have a home kit already

So perseverance paid off. I tried online chat and they refused it. Then I called them, they accepted it. CALL THEM instead.

If not, an ST hub and a few Xiaomi door, window and motion sensors will do the trick.

Just received my old order and surprised to see they jacked up the monitoring prices already. There is a sticker saying optional monitoring at.$15 per month.

Home depot isn't matching Best Buy because it's a "promo".
Don't waste your time, but lucky to those who found a rep who didn't know their stuff.

Wasted over an hour of my time on this :(
