Dont know how good this was
but my pre teen persuaded me enough, Staples Clearance table had "1 Only" Big Box Original PS2 Special Edition which includes all the band equipment for 69.97 @ 50% off > final price $35 + taxes.

quick quest, I have rockband 1 with the instruments. I heard that rockband 2 drums are a little different, they have cymbals on them. Will these be totally compatable with rockband 2 or will I be missing all the cymbal notes?

Picked this up tonight at the VIP Best Buy event for 15.99. Also got Uncharted 2 for 47.99 as all PS3 games were 20% off.
