That's because no one has had stock in forever, so why drop prices?

The only way to get the Wii RB2 equivalent to buy it piece by piece (like Jon and I are doing) or bend over and pay $250 for the Beatles kit.

On the other hand, if I hadn't just bought Beatles RockBand software for the Wii, I'd likely buy the XB360 version and give away my sale-priced drums and guitar.

You need to get yourself a USB hub

Small note, some USB devices require more power (they have a power adapter on the hub). like external hardrive etc. But for your PS3 i think you will be fine with a standard hub.

Either a USB hub or double-check your equipment to make sure you don't have some extra ports. The USB connector that came with the Wii RB2 Guitar had two ports on it, and I didn't end up needing an extra hub.

Good call on checking the equipment. I already ordered a USB hub from monoprice from work. I needed extra HDMI cable anyway. I'm sure I'll find a use for the USB hub somewhere.
