Notice that it is 15mm thick. It won't fit in most places that take 2.5" drives. Too bad!
That sucks. I really wish there were mechanical drives larger than 3TB that were under 12.5mm in size.

Anyone know if this is a 7200 or 5400 RPM drive?
5400 RPM
the drive inside is most likely ST5000LM000

I bought this last year. It's pretty fast for an external drive, and the small size is nice.

Is this good for a ps4 pro game drive?
It works on an Xbox, not sure about ps4. Just transferred everything from my other 1tb drive to this drive without issues. Basically plug in, format as an Xbox drive (a few seconds) and transfer Xbox data over.

If you plan to use it as an external drive, you likely could. At 15mm, it won't fit in the actual PS4.

Amazon has it for $129.99 and 2 months of Adobe CC Photography. Be aware of the reviews though, tons of people reporting failures.

Well, I guess we can keep the link there for reviews. Thanks for clarifying @SickBeast.

Guys you can PM this at Staples.ca and apply the $15 off $150 coupon that you should have in your promotional emails. They just credited me back $22.54 for the PM. So the total including tax was around $142. Just order quick if you want to do this, the Staples coupon expires today.

To do the PM, simply place your order with the coupon at Staples.ca, then call 1-800-668-6888 to do the PM. It took only a few minutes on the phone.

Thanks, OP, by the way!

Also of note, Staples has a way better return policy than Best Buy.
