[Best Buy] Sony a6000 w/ Kit Lens Open Box - Like New - $549.99

Don't think it's been cheaper than this price before. BestBuy Open Box are all in like new condition with return and free returns.

The deal is gone in a few hours but these cameras seem to sell out very quickly.

Edit: $479.99 pricing is gone. Back to the usual $549.99. Still a pretty good price.

Reading the reviews, it looks like you should be expecting this to come in a non sony box with a ton of bubble wrap. Check the camera for scratches and damage.

Very good price, yes $480 is the lowest, it was usually $580 for open box and even then it was often sold out quickly.

Yes, it is kind of ridiculous that the price of a6000 stays at that level all those years AND it is still for sale as a mainstream model.
We really need some stronger competition from Canon and Nikon.

Apple Red Apple phones are purchased and sold at a high cost and not even the latest tech. Reviews of the Sony are solid but also mixed. When you read up on cameras it can get very complex. Some say this camera is awesome and others say it has down falls. But a sub $500 camera at this level is an awesome price!

I am not saying that it is not a good camera by today's standards. What I dislike is that Sony is milking a multi-generation old model instead of replacing it with a newer past model. They do the same with their RX100 line - I cannot believe the original RX100 is still being sold. Even Apple is better at ditching older models.

Another way to think about it is Canon and Nikon really need to step up their game. Why are they allowing Sony to milk the mirrorless and compact camera market year after year?

I think the open box A5100 for $400 is a decent deal too.
Best shopping deals I got from here:
Asus Zenfone 3 Zoom $300, ZTE Blade V8 Pro $175, Fluld 55' 4k TV $360

In for 1. Page said "Sale Ends: December 8, 2018" though so I'm not sure how long it will last.

I don't think that Nikon/Canon really care about mirrorless market and neither do I
