The a6000 is an excellent deal. This is how much it costs used on Kijiji these days.

Still same price. It's been coming around for many months.

Really tough to justify price on RX100 series when the other options exist. Wish it was better.

Is my shutter count 1490? If so is that good or bad?

Sony A6000 with 16-50mm Lens Kit $580

Got one as a gift. Thanks OP! 1 remaining in stock.

Anyone know if you are able to look through the eye piece to take pictures and have the LCD screen turned off? This feature is useful at live shows.

Yes, it will do that, there is a sensor there to detect this. It detects anything getting near it (fingers, face), and will turn off the LCD and enable the EVF.

Ordered mine the last time it was in stock (A6000), and shutter count of 11. It looks perfect, as good as any of my other cameras that I purchased new.

I think mine had about 50 shots taken. The box it shipped in was total garbage though... so inspect carefully.

You can also set the back lcd to just be a read out of settings, rather than a live view. Not really "off" but not really on in the typical sense either.

Been buying some manual lenses to use on my a6000. its actually a lot of fun compared to AF lenses.

The box I received mine in was perfect as well. I was surprised by the condition I received the camera in. Nothing appears used, but of course, ymmv when it comes to open box.

I picked up an open box a6000 from BB on saturday for $550 +tax. Came with original box and all the included stuff it suppose to have. Shutter actuations = 178. But I have taken a few pics over the last few days testing it out.
