[Best Buy] [Warm] LG 49" 4K LED w/ HDR and webOS - $699

Not a bad price for a decent sized 4K television. Of course there are other comparable TVs but they're the more budget brands (Toshiba, Insignia, Haier). I personally would prefer a higher refresh rate, but HDR is really good to be included in this price. Not sure if it's true HDR or not though.

Either way either an alternative for budget 4K searchers or a decent TV in general. Was considering upgrading from my 46" Insignia soon.

Because OP didn't link it: http://www.bestbuy.ca/en-ca/product/lg- ... 14410.aspx

Model is 49UH6100

Review: http://ca.rtings.com/tv/reviews/lg/uh6100

TL:DR version

+Cheap
+Average brightness (400 nitts)
+Good for bright rooms, little reflections
+Little motion blur for sports
+Fine for gaming, low input lag
+Supports 4:4:4 Chroma for PC use
-Fake HDR, supports HDR10, but lacks a TV panel with wide colour gamut, high peak brightness (800+ nitts) and local dimming
-RGBW LEDs, not true 4K
-Average picture quality
-Blacks appear gray, dirty screen effect evident

Would it be worth it to pay the extra $100 for the Sony which is the same size?
