Best Carry On Size Luggage and where to purchase. Samsonite? TravelPro?

Hi guys, I'm looking for recommendations on a Carry on Piece of Luggage. I'm tired of paying $50+ for checking in a bag when travelling by Air. I'm looking for the largest carry on that I can get that conforms to most Airline's standards, such as 22" x 14" (some will allow 15") x 9".

I'm pretty convinced that I can pack everything that I need for up to a 10 day trip after seeing this pro demonstrate it, pretty awesome:

1) Where are some good places to purchase Luggage, i.e. Bay/Sears weekend sales? Online? Or?

2) After some basic research, the Brands that I'm leaning towards are - 21" Samsonite Lift

or the 22" Travel Pro Crew 8

Any other suggestions?
Thanks in advance.

Thanks. Does anyone have experience with airlines that are very strict about the size of carry on luggage? I measured a 21" one today and with the wheels, it came in at 23" x 15" x 8.5"

Going by my last trip where I did not have a carry on, with Delta Airlines the stated size was 22" x 14" x 9". If I fly with them again, would they burn me on the 1 inch in the two areas? inches?

Anyone buy from these guys below? They seem cheaper by about $20-30 for the Crew 8 Travelpro that I'm looking to buy. $127 when added to the cart ($169 prior). The Bay has it for $210 (50% off of $420). I missed their once a year 75% off sale last week. Cry. :(

Just snagged this today for $105 plus taxes! 75% off ($420 on the tag) - it was an error, only certain TravelPro luggage was supposed to be 75% off. Xmas is saved!
