This is probably the wrong forum to post in...

But anyway, it really depends on ur price range. IMHO, Seikos are pretty much bullet proof, and their SNK809 is rather affordable.

You might want to specify some more things, like preferred size and type (quartz, mechanical, automatic, solar) and a price range. There are a lot of nice watches at pretty much every price point > $40. I'm partial to the Timex Expedition line if you want a really inexpensive watch, That Casio MDV106 that was on sale recently is a good buy too or the Seiko 5 line or Citizen Eco-Drive line. But there really isn't a "best" casual wear watch.

Ah, good call...especially if OP doesn't have a specific product in mind yet.

This is like pulling teeth. My suggestion would be to put out a bunch of info so people can help you.

What research have you done up until this point?

Do you want something sporty/dressier ?

What size is your wrist ?

Have you looked at some stuff that you like so far ?

If you’re just going to let everyone else do the heavy lifting then I suggest: Daniel Wellington, MVMT, and Michael Kors.

An automatic under $300 basically limits you to Orient/Seiko/Citizen.

What the heck is a "daily wear watch"??

Hope you got it on sale! I grabbed a few a158-w1 as gifts last year for $11!

This thread was silly though... Not automatic, not even close to $300... And can't even be considered a daily casual watch as Casio basically created their own category of watches: digital
