The other places are pretty "small peanuts" when compared to the volume that Tim Hortons does. I love Tim Hortons coffee - really good.
Some of the other places are yuppyish, which I don't care for._______________

#1-Second Cup $$ -nice variety
timmothy's $$ close second to
williams $$ convenient since its in my school
mcdonalds -decent and well priced, but i preferr to put my own cream and sugar in
7-11, always fresh at most locations, there some variety + the offer tonnes of different flavoured cream(french vanilla, english toffee, irish cream, etc.), tiny hard marshmellows, cinnimon, choco, skim milk,1%,2%,4%milk, 10%,18% cream, you name it they got it. huge sizes, good prices.
starbucks $$ -agreed it taste burn, and some places are snobby, confusing to order
tim hortons -overrated but better than
coffee time-crap
havent had country style so no comment...
$$ coffee shops are too expensive for me since i go through maybe 4-6 cups a day. mcdonalds are everywhere and coffee is good most of the time.
ppl like tim hortons coffee cause the 18% cream and because its "cool" to drink coffee... and because tim hortons does everything else well food/soup/sandwhich-wise... donuts are blehhhh and the steaped tea is crap.
coffee time sucks, multiple times at different locations the cream was bad. and there was coffee grinds in my coffee! i hate it when that happens...
7-11, has some okay coffee, lots of variety, and I was actually surprised to see them pour out old coffee on multiple occasions, even when the pot was full.

Second Cup and Timothys are pretty good as you can generally take a random blend and it'll still be okay. Starbucks - if that particular store happens to be brewing a favourite blend then it beats everyone else but because they have like 30 different blends you don't really know until you walk into the place. As for the idea that their coffee is burnt, Italian and French roasts are among the best selling blends Starbucks has and even Costco carries it. Coffee Time is pretty meh, Country Style is awful and Tim Hortons is pretty mild and boring. Tim Hortons is certainly reliable but isn't for the palate of a coffee enthusiast or anyone who can taste the difference between Latin American beans and African beans.
And like a previous poster said, milder blends have more caffeine than bolder blends but seriously, the difference is fractional.

Coffeetime and Country Style both suck big time. I'd rather Timmys it if I was going for a quickie caffeine fix.
