BEST DDR2 - 667 ram?

hi,

I've been thinking about getting some new DDR2 ram and i was wondering... which one is the best to get for 2x512MB or 2x1GB?

if i get DDR2 667 MHz ram and i want to set FSB to run at 280 - 300.0 mhz around. Will the ram run @ some weird ratio and not 1:1?

Also, if i'm thinking about getting DDR2 800 or DDR2 900 ram and set FSB to run @ 280-300.0 mhz, will there be any decrease in performance, will it also damage the ram and what ratio would it be running for all these?
