best deals on microwaves for boxing day?

I saw the Panasonic genius microwave for $119.99 at London drugs tomo. Anyone seen any better deals?

yeah, the white version for $89.99 last month at costco. the reviews aren't that good. that's why i would recommend buying from costco. they'll take it back when it fails (and it will).

i believe the sale is now over. i also am searching for a microwave, preferably panasonic. danby is crap.

The latch thing has a habit of breaking, but there's a 3 minute diy on youtube which is a very simple fix.

IMO. If it's an easy fix, then Panasonic should do a recall. Otherwise, I would just return it to Costco for a refund, rince, and repeat. Eventually, Costco will stop carrying products that have a high return/failure rate.

I wasn't packing it back up, driving 20 minutes, and probably spending another $100+ on other stuff and then driving back. The diy fix was cheaper in the end.

40 minutes of city driving with a 3.5L engine isn't the cheapest.

Oh wait. I got it at junkmart/walmart. No thanks not worth it. I would've just turfed it even being a few weeks old.

The 1.6 panasonic above is nice, too big for most kitchens. I think it may have been $129 before Christmas at London Drugs.

What I specifically like about Panasonic's technology is their inverter technology. The microwave doesn't go and off as it is heating. It's constant power, whether it's 20, 50, 70%, etc.

The Sensor reheat (higher end models) will automatically reheat your food without any cold spots. The lower end Panasonic models have to specify how many servings of food is inside the oven.

I'll likely get a microwave at Costco since we always go to Costco any ways so lugging it around wouldnt be a chore.
