Best internet provider (GTA)

Hey I was wondering what the best internet provider is in the GTA, I have been with rogers for a few years now and just wondering if there is anything better out there.

Cost is not too big a deal under $100 a month. I care more about dl/ul speeds as well as it being very reliable.

Look into Teksavvy. Just got their dry loop service and it's 39.00/mo for 5mb DSL and 200gb d/l limit with no traffic shaping. They have an uncapped service but that does cost more. So far they have been great, I couldn't ask for better service!

Teksavvy is probably the best ISP in the area nowdays. Too bad for dry loop users, they're also one of the most expensive.

However, Teksavvy is DSL. The only other option for cable internet is 3Web which is actually one of the worst ISPs in the country.

So yeah.. the options aren't great but it's either stick with Rogers or try your luck with one of the DSL companies.

Speed wise, all the DSL ISPs will perform pretty much the same. The differences are in the level of customer support, price, and bandwidth limits, if any

Dry loop service is required if you do not have phone service with Bell.

+1 - It took 2 weeks to set up properly, but its been great since then. They actually had a promo that if you signed a 1-year contract, it would be $59.99/month for the above mentioned package.

EDIT: Mine is only 5mbps down - lol, what gives.

Same bundle for 59.99

It is actually a really good deal and Primus is a fairly good ISP.
