Best Lawn food and weed remover all-in-one???

We are getting brown patches in certain areas of out backyard, even though we water the lawn regularly, does anyone know what the best lawn care is, that also includes weed killer for the weeds popping up here and there?

I must say the top soil they gave us was rubbish, and teh ground is just hard clay

Suggestions please, want to make this lawn looking lush green

If you are getting brown patches it could mean 1 of 2 things. Grubs or some animal is taking a leak on your lawn!!!! For grub removal, go to HD and from the Wilson Co., get grub out. The proper way to apply the liquid grub out is to soak your lawn first. This will cause any grubs to the surface. Then spray the grass with the Grub out.

As for fertilizer, I solely use Parkwood offered at Sheridan Nursery. I beleive its there home brand and its cheaper than CIL. I've been using Parkwood for over 3 years now and my lawn is thick & dark green. I usually have to cut it twice a week!!!!! Don't get me wrong, it's not only the fertilizer, its also the mulching and the watering that contribute to the healthy growth!!!!

I know Scott's is expensive, but my dad swears by it. With the way our lawn looks, I can't argue with him. I never tried anything else, he has always used Scott's and so when I took over the yard work, that's all I have used.

sunny i know this is almost year old..but are you still using their home made parkwood? i was thinking of picking one up as CIL and scotts are very expensive.

are results really better then leading ones?
