Best Low Maintenance Grass Seeds to buy for GTA climate?

It's time to grow a new yard after tilling the soil and suffocating the lawn in the fall. Just wondering what mix or specific grass seeds I should consider if I don't like to waste a lot of water during the summer months.

Looks like I should skip the Kentucky bluegrass and go more with Tall Fescue and Canada Blue Grass? Will Ryegrass survive GTA winters?

Thanks for any tips and leads.

Kentucky blue grass is the most common used grass, even when you buy sod it is all Kentucky blue grass and maybe10% fescue.
And Kentucky is very hardy, can stand a lot of traffic and abuse.

Prince Albert, Sask.
Our local sod farm, 80% Kentucky Blue grass, 20% Creeping Red Fescue. No such thing as low maintenance lawn. They all need care.

Ryegrass comes in both annual and perennial varieties. You'd want perennial.
