Best place to buy computer games in Toronto?
Recommendations for best place to buy PC games in Toronto?
Definition of "best":
- Somewhere near Yonge street, Eaton center, etc
- Has good selection of both older and newer games (actually older is better since my system can't handle anything post-Bioshock)
- Used games is a plus
- Not bootlegs

sry to say...but we pc gamers are a dying breed. I don't think there is any store that has a large selection of PC games.
Take EB/Gamestop as an example. PC games are reduced to a small 4 shelf rack beside the discarded N64 and PS1 games.....5-10 years ago PC games had a wall dedicated to them.

.
Ususally sites let you download them nowadays so there's no point in going to a store to get them.
ie. Steampowered.com
or eagames.com

I am one of those people who prefer physical copies. If I was really into PC gaming, with a modern rig and modern games, I would probably already be a paying Steam member (or moved on to playing on an Xbox 360). As it is, I am just a guy growing older and digging out his 10 year old games which he hasn't played in 6 years.
My local EB has a small selection of PC games. I am mainly interested in the used games, since they are the ones from ~2004 or so that my system can easily handle.

I don't play video games, but my bf lovessss going to this place on yonge and charles. I think it's called Game Centre. It's in that same building as dollarama (i think there's also a second cup, td bank machine, and a spring roll) on the north west side of the street. Apparently it has the best deals on used games, except, I am not sure if they sell computer games.

I found it on google maps, thanks! I will be sure to check it out.
Yes, the PC gamer is a dying breed. It doesn't really bother me since, between the existing PC games out there and my collection of PS1, Wii, GBA, DS, and Gamecube games, I have enough to last me far beyond the grave.
I am just trying to scoop up some of the good PC games released between 2002-2007 before they are long gone or moved strictly to digital download.
