Best Place to buy Ipod Touch???

Just wondering where should i get the touch??? seems like every where is selling the 8GB Itouch 2nd gen for 249.99

I live at a good distance from Wal-mart, Footlocker, BestBuy, [rfdlink=18]Apple[/rfdlink] store, Staples and such.

I think getting it at [rfdlink=18]apple[/rfdlink] store is best way since if something wrong with touch you can just go straight to [rfdlink=18]apple[/rfdlink] and ask them to fix it for you. What do you guys think

It doesn't make a difference where you buy it, Apple Store (IMO) has one of the best customer service.

The problem right now with the Touch is finding a store that actually has it in stock. What's odd is the stores I went to have a TON of the new Nanos and Classics in stock. I just got my 8GB today at BB for $214.99 + tax using reward zone coupons. I didn't know Staples sold the next gen ones. But your best bet if you want to get it less than retail is at BB (if you have reward zone coupons) or at Staples using coupon. There's no student discount on the Touches if you shop via the education store on Apple.ca for some reason.

that is because there is no education discount on any iPod models, the education discount can be used for Apple computer systems

I am planning to get a 16gb one from Bestbuy - By price matching with futureshop, and paying with the PC financial master card, which will double the warranty period of the ipod, and the cheapest price available around.

I haven't seen the new generation ipod being sold in staples, atleast in the GTA, and secondly, they wont allow you to both price match and use the $20 off coupon at once.

Seems like OP wants a 2g Touch, so they might have to wait awhile for those Ipods to be refurbished. I have no idea how long that would take. I was thinking of getting a refurbed 1g Touch, but I got in on the BB 32Gb Touch price error and with the $25 and $10 sale, the 2g was close enough in price.
