Best place to do cherry picking?
Hi,
I was wondering where would be the best place to go cherry picking?
Looking to be close around Mississauga area or Toronto area. Max drive around 1 hours, a little more if it's a good place and cheap with good quality.
Also, When is the best time to go cherry picking?
thanks,
Chris

It's pretty hard to cherry pick unless you want to go off-side all the time. If your playing road hockey thats a different story, it all depends on the rules set before the game. You want to stay in your opponents offensive zone at all times, one of your teammates will find you eventually and you will be wide open to receive the pass and have a breakaway. Even if cherry picking is allowed during a street hockey game don't do it too much since your opponent will get pretty pissed and a fight will break out.

Darn, Yankee beat me to the hockey reference

I haven't seen any good cherry picking places within Mississauga and Toronto. For a one hour drive, you can go west on the QEW to St. Catharines, Niagara-on-the-lake and area. There should be a lot more options there!
Oh, and now is a good time to go. Once we get into July, a lot of the good ones will be gone.
Edit: That's only based on past experience. With the late spring weather arrival this year, harvest time should be pushed back a little.

Cherry Avenue Farms FTW~~~!! Check their website, I don't think they're open for picking yet because we only start getting the warm weather like...yesterday?
