Best place to get Rogaine/Minoxidil?

Where is the best place to get Minoxidil foam in Canada?

I know Walmart sells the 3-pack for $120. But is there a cheaper option for a generic? I've heard Costco sells it, but I just phoned two different locations and got conflicting information, and one told me you can't get the foam (!?). Anyways, any help is appreciated.

Also, does this stuff actually work???

it doesn't work on receding hairlines,, just for bald patches starting on the back (crown area) of your head.

I believe just like hair dyes ... none of this stuff is good for you
That they can cause cancers
You should be proud of who you are ... the way you are
If not, then at least be aware there are risks associated with such Vanity

As to whether they work...
I don’t think so
Had a buddy he used it religiously in his 20s & 30s
Hair loss never improved
Mostly bald in his 40s
And dead in his 50s

Of course there’s no way to prove one brought forth the other
But let’s face it ...
He did it all in a vain attempt to hold onto something that wasn’t to be

In reality... looking older than his age thru hair loss
Got him more job respect... and I believe advancement / promotion
He should have just embraced who he was meant to be
The bald dude
No shame in that
It is what it is
And one should love oneself for who you are

Lol, ya... that’s cuz men are visual creatures
When it comes to women
Sexual turn on is so much in what the eye sees
We be shallow man ...
ya know thinking with the little (bald) head vs the big one

Women will go for a follicley challenged guy
Without much problem

Cannot say the same for us men
Blonde and Shapely
Is our most common yardstick
And that’s why there’s an entire industry geared to women to fit that ridiculous mould they impose on themselves

ADD - once upon a time it was thought that being follicley challenged was a sign of lack of virility
Unfortunately for some that old wives tale still holds some resonance
But it is changing ... can name a lot of sexy bald leading men these days on tv & in movies
So times are indeed changing

The point I'm making is that why attack a man for wanting to improve an attribute while we just turn a blind eye to women doing the same thing?

In fact, there's a interesting polarization when it comes to men's hair; a full head of hair, or baldness, is indeed viewed as a positive. The catch is that thinning hair is perceived quite negatively. That thinning is helped by Minoxidil, so why shit on a brother that wants hair? It's a legal product with documented results, which really can't be said for many woman\s beauty products.

Here's a true life story that might highlight what he's trying to say.

I knew an okay-looking guy in University, good with the ladies, but a bit a bit slovenly and later developed a pot belly, poor hygiene, habits, etc.

In his mid-to-late-20's he started losing his hair, then he tried all the hair loss cures, etc. with none really working and he went through a depression period. Then he just decided to go the Bruce Willis route and shave down to the scruff, work out, clean up, and get some fashion sense. Now he's a finance guy who's 90% bald but who looks great with virtually no fat, and gets more ass than a toilet seat.

Accept who you are and improve what you can, but definitely take care of those low-hanging fruit (weight, fitness, cleanliness, professionalism, etc.)

I started going bald in my late 20’s. It was the biggest tragedy know to mankind. Had hair transplant in the 90’s, used rogaine, etc.

Twenty years later, transplant looked so horrible, I had the plugs pulled back out (good doctor), and stop use rogaine.

Now I could care less about been bald, whatever. But when I was in my 20s it was a big deal. When you get older, that stuff does not matter.

But you do what is best for u, just trying to give u some of my experience I went through.

True enough

Maybe it’s just the old fart in us talking here

As you age you begin to see what sh!t really matters, and what doesn’t

The best thing anyone can do for themselves is personal acceptance / self esteem

Once you do that ... members of the opposite sex will flock to you cuz you exude confidence

THAT IS WHAT IS TRULY SEXY
AND long lasting

Anyone who cannot accept you for who you are
Well, they aren’t worth having
Cuz ultimately they are the ones who are phoney ... have issues with their own image
(Can’t Date Bob cuz he’s short, Bill cuz he’s balding, Joe cuz he’s fat, or Pete cuz he’s broke etc
And buying into those messages / beliefs is detrimental to one’s well being)

Once men figure all that out
And I agree it comes with age & maturity
Then they also see women differently too

Which I find amongst my friends
The happiest marriages tend to be their second ones
Relationships they didn’t embark upon when they were still “finding themselves” / “growing up”

And they admit ...
The women they are married to now Happily
Are not the same sort of women they were looking for when they were younger
When looks were a huge motivator
Often to the detriment of the rest of the pkg

How often do you hear a guy say ...
... Ya BUT she’s Smokin Hot ...
As if that can excuse bad behaviour

It might for awhile
But eventually that crap don’t fly anymore

What’s that old saying
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder
Or beauty is only skin deep ...
And trust me... the skin will go to ruin... long before the heart & soul of a person ever does
