I am never worried about that, but I suppose if I were concerned I would do it in a bank or a mall or somewhere else secure and very public.
Try to avoid dark alleyways and poorly-lit areas :p

Best place to meet to exchange goods?
Where is a good place to meet to do an exchange where large sums of money is involved? Library or Mall? I don't want to end up having guys tail me out of the mall only to get jumped or something.

If you meet at a bank you can have the teller wire the money over on the spot, deposit it to ensure bills are not fake etc.

Airport, so if under aerial surveillance, helicopters cant fly over this zone.
Or in a car wash, you can switch cars when its all soapy then the police will follow the wrong car out...
Under a bridge but get your "crew" to hide in the rafters like in Ronin.
You could meet in the subway station then jump across the rails at the last minute.
But my favorite place is at a royal gala so I can wear a mask/costume and hence evade capture after the exchange of "goods."

i used to prefer meeting at TTC subway stations like Union, St. George, Kipling. Any place where they were always a lot of ppl during the day. also used to meet near the ticket booths or convience stores.

The Atrium on Bay is a good place to exchange something in downtown Toronto. There's a CIBC branch and an LCBO in there, so there's usually a fair bit of security, and it's attached to Dundas subway station so you don't have to travel very far or wait out in the cold to meet someone.
