Best prepaid plan for a heavy user

Hypothetically, if I was a user with little credit (lets say a new immigrant) and I am a heavy mobile user: ie 4-5gb data a month and unlimited texts, what is the best option on prepaid? I am open to carriers like WIND as well... The new Public Mobile seems interesting but their site is a little confusing/hard to navigate at the moment.

Thanks in advance for any help
Cheers

If you want to use 5 gigs of data, you better go with Wind. All the major carriers and their flanker brands would fleece your wallet for that kind of usage.

That's what I had thought, just wanted to be sure there were no other gems out there. I'm hoping on the Wind 50 being eligible for Pay before (prepaid) because that will be a great deal.

Ahh yes forgot about these... I remember having looked into it awhile back as well. The Bell one requires some weird fanangling with an app on a real tablet though doesn't it? Or can't you just do online topup and stuff.

This would actually be perfect as I can direct my usage how I want.

My main number and calls/texts/imessage can still be on my iPhone, with stuff like FB messenger/whatsapp/viber on the S6, no need for calls/texts on the S6.

Thanks for reminding me of this.

That's only going to last the OP 4 months. The OP uses 5 GBs a month.

It's prepaid. When data runs out you top up. It's significantly cheaper than anything else in Canada.

That would work, but it isn't LTE. Also I have no clue how to get a Tbay SIM. I would do it if I could, that or i'm thinking the Bell $35/5gb 30 day pass.
Any ideas on how exactly to source that lucrative TBay sim? ;)

Edit: Seen the megathread in your sig. I may get in touch with Fred.

Don't really need LTE per say.
As long as you can get HSPA+ your good to go.

If client was willing to use WIND, I'm pretty sure HSPA+ on Rogers (Tbay) is likely faster.

Yep, you're right... This plan would be for a secondary phone anyway, main phone having full coverage with Rogers, with LTE access.
