Best PS3 Exclusives

What are some of the best PS3 exclusives worth having???

Right now I have these on my list of games I want to get.

Uncharted: Drake's Fortune
Metal Gear Solid 4
Little Big Planet
SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Confrontation
Resistance: Fall of Man
Resistance 2

Any other games that are high profile and fun that are worth having?
What about games that exist as well on the Xbox 360 but are online catered but exist for the PS3 as well?

heavenly sword (fun game.. but short.. mabye 7 hrs to pass?)

i guess motorstorm 2? or get the original for cheap.. its fun as well

Get Valkyria Chronicles. It looks amazing. There's a demo on PSN.

If I were you, I would skip out on Socom because its having server issues.

If you want an online only game get Warhawk. Its basically similar to Socom but has a decent/huge PS3 following. Its been out for awhile and you should be able to get it for cheap.

Try the demos before you get games, but the games people are listening are some very good exclusives.

Wipeout HD for sure - $20.00 off PSN, has multiplayer...lots of time spent playing it



Siren: Blood Curse - Also available on the PSN, there's a demo, if you like Resident Evil 4 ...that's the only thing i can compare it to, it's got zombie type monsters and the story is pretty weird and scary...

IMO, yes. Go see the socom thread. And reviews are slowly trickling out from various sites.

1. WipEoutHD - 19.99$ on PSN Store - very fast racer, at beautiful 1080/60 graphics. Very good soundtrack, replayability, and you can take ingame screenshots at any time.

2. Siren: Blood Curse - 39.99$ on PSN Store - very atmospheric horror game, probably one of the only real ones this generation. I would not compare it to Resident Evil, but if I could compare it, it would be Silent Hill 1-3. Not action oriented, but stealth and suspense.

3. Uncharted: Drake's Fortune - 39.99$ in retailers - amazing game. Some of the best graphics on consoles to date (even considering it's over a year old now). Pretty lengthy for a run-and-gun game. Great controls, puzzles, and very well done voice-acting and motion capturing. Probably the best game on PS3 right now.

4. LittleBigPlanet - 59.99$ in retailers - online driven game, so don't bother unless you can go online and have friends to play with. You can make your own worlds similar to GMod, but there's a heavy player-to-player interaction focus. As I said, if you have no one to play with, skip it. Otherwise, you need this game.

5. Pixel Junk Eden - 14.99?$ on PSN Store - Very wacky game. Not sure how to explain it, but it's very colorful and has a great soundtrack. Getting the trophies is a big challenge, but worth it.

Some to look forward to:

1. inFamous - open world game where you play the role of a super hero or villain. The plot isn't revealed yet, but your decisions in the game affect how the story progresses. It's on the same scale as games like GTA and Saints Row, but much more action oriented.

2. Flower - you play as a flower pedal trying to get to other flowers to pollinate or something. Very colorful game, and uses the motion sensing of the PS3 to it's fullest potential.

And some games that are done better on PS3 than 360:

1. Burnout Paradise - 29.99$ on PSN Store and retailers - amazing racing game, probably one of the best arcade racers of all time. Open world similar to GTA, but you're in a car rather than on foot. Online mode is also free-roam with up to 16 players online doing competitions, tricks, or team challenges. PS3 and 360 versions are identical, but PS3 version loads faster, online much more stable. Graphics noticeably better.

2. Dead Space - 59.99$ in retailers - best survival horror game this generation. Great story, atmosphere, voice-acting... the whole shebang. 360 and PS3 versions are identical, but PS3 version has faster loading times and has more anti-aliasing. Also, the free suit for the PS3 is very cool.

-Great underrated CO-OP tower game. It'll soon feature trophies as well. Only 10 bucks!

Metal Gear Solid 4

-The biggest exclusive on the PS3 right now

LittleBigPlanet

-This game will be the biggest exclusive on PS3. Apparently it's out as of today!? (Oct 24)

Upcoming games

Team Ico Game

-Who knows when this is coming out, but anyone who's played Shadow of the Colossus knows this game will be great.

God of War 3

-I think this game is self explanatory

Fat Princess

-32 player CTF style game? Try to get the princess on your side, fatten her up with cake to make her harder to move! Sounds like a winning formula to me.

Killzone 2

-Graphics have been shown in-game and it looks to be the best looking game for PS3 so far. Perks AND classes, hopefully it takes the best of both COD4 and TF2. I'm looking forward to this game more than Resistance personally, out in early 09 I think.

all I'm waiting for now is a sweet deal on a PS3... but ya u guys all have great reasons to own a PS3... I also find the PSN to be better than XBL + the added bonus of not paying for online.

Mmm.. I got my PS3 in late August and I would say the Best PS3 exclusive would include:

- Metal Gear Solid 4
- Ratchet and Clank: Tools of Destruction
- Uncharted: Drake's Fortune
- Warhawk
- GT5: Prologue (I was really adamant on not paying for a demo but I got it as a gift and I was really surprised with the content you get in it.)
- LittleBIG Planet (Haven't played yet but looks really great)

PSN wise:

- Pixel Junk Monsters
- Pixel Junk Eden
- WipEout HD
