Best PSP deal on the boxing week?

My friend asked me to buy one for her and I have no idea where is the best place to get one since I got mine from Japan long long time ago. Which version is the newest so far and which store offers the best package deal?

depending on which case, your hunt for a psp will either be very easy or a bit harder.

Walmart had the blue madden PSP for $150
Ebgames had used psps + 1 game for $110

and so on..

Not so sure if this is a good deal.. My brother bought a psp rachet clank bundle from sony style. He's using the $50 gift card/$50 gift certificate promo.
The final price is $169 (tax in). It's usually $225 (tax in).

He was going to buy the madden combo at walmart but he wants the new version. I heard that psp 3000 can't be modded.. Not sure, though.

You might be better off doing what I did, bought an original fat PSP already modded from the BST forums, $60 flat .

Was thinking of going with the newer PSP but the cost + the cost of a Pandora battery & time needed to mod was too much.

huh...it is my friend, and not even my gf, asking for a PSP....I cannot give her an open box or a second hand..she's gonna kill me...

but your suggestion is really helpful -- I am gonna check out sealed box deals from BST first
