Best restaurant you've been to?

Since there is a thread about the worst ones, I thought I'd ask the opposite.

Good question but my response would have to be "none".
I have never been to a restaurant where it made me say "wow, this place is great".

Nanaimo, British Col…
I can't really say for sure, but I'd say the place with the food I enjoy the most would be Montanas, the wings are awesome and they have a unique menu.

Fang's at First Markham. Love that place...
Ding Tai Fung is good too for the steamed pork buns

Maple Pepper by East Beaver Creek/Hwy 7 is also pretty unique but quite pricey.

Not one of the best I've been to but The Whistling Oyster is pretty good. They serve western and eastern food and whatever you get is really good. The best part is after 9:00 it's happy hour, and that's when the cheap menu comes out.

Coco Urban Thai Cuisine... Bayview and North of Steeles at Laureleaf. Best Curry Crab I've ever had. Last time i went i got a 2lb crab for $30.

More tasty than Keg's or something although it is different foods but same price range, maybe a little cheaper.

NASTY expensive shanghai food.

I goto this place on Finch and Tapscot all the time..almost every sunday. Cheap as heck and GOOD food...10 times better then ding tai fung.

Had:

siew lung bow
wor teep
hung siew ow yuk mein
choong yaw beng
shanghai cho chow hoa
and a few other plates for like less then $30

This was for 3 people and we had leftovers to take home.

There's this place called CinCin that had the best service. I went for dinner with some friends and we had our own personal server type guy armed with a gold bread crumb sweeper. His job was to sweep the bread crumbs from the table in between bites!

This is a tough question, because if you got the dough, your chance of getting a awesome restaurant increases.

I'd say Mino Japanese Restaurant at the Hilton Suites Markham, followed closely by Katsura at the Westin Prince.

Definetly Sotto Sotto Trattoria in toronto (on avenue road) EXTREMELY expensive but really worth it, lots of stars go there too so looking at all the pictures they have on the wall is fun too - but if u ever really wanna spend some money go there :)

the deserts there were prolly the best i've had in a long time
