Yes, that's right.
1. Take TTC 129A north to Highway 7 (which is south of 16th Ave.).
2. Pay a fare and obtain a transfer, get off and walk to the fancy bus stop at the northwest corner of the intersection.
3. Using you transfer, board either YRT Route 1 or Viva Purple westbound. (You may take Viva Green to Enterprise and transfer to either Viva Purple or Pink if you think it will be faster.)
4. Get off at Allstate Pkwy and walk north to the campus.
You could also take TTC 190 STC Rocket to Warden and transfer to 68B north to your choice of Enterprise Dr. or Highway 7 and head west. (You have to choose one stop or the other though, so you don't get the advantage of the combined service like at McCowan.)
You could also take TTC 190 STC Rocket to Victoria Park and transfer to 24D or 224D north to Highway 7. and head west. (This one is more difficult.)
On the way back you'll have to buy or validate one ticket using the machine at Allstate Pkwy. & Highway 7 (for Viva) or by depositing it in the farebox on YRT Route 1. Use the validated ticket or a transfer from the driver to board TTC 129A.
Your transfer is good for two hours so feel free to enjoy a stopover along the way.

Best way to get to Seneca College (Markham Campus) from Scarborough Town Ctr.
Thanks in advance

I know 129A (or I might be wrong) going up McCowan Road all the way passing 16th Ave. and I can get off Markville Mall area to transit Viva Pink? to get to Markham Campus of Seneca College.
Would someone tell me the detail where to get the bus and where to transit? Also how long does this take from end to end on a weekday evening rush hour roughly please?
I got evening class on every other weekday starting next week and need to sort out the best travel route.

Seneca @ York, or Seneca @ Newnham, or Seneca @ Markham from Centennial GO Station?
Seneca @ York
Walk to Highway 7/McCowan
Take VIVA Purple west to Seneca @ York (York University) $3.00
or
From Centennial GO Station
Take GO Bus to Seneca @ York (York University) $4.65
Seneca @ Newnham
Even though this campus is located in Toronto on Finch Avenue, you don't even need to use the TTC to get to this campus. YRT & VIVA serves this campus and you don't need to pay the double fare after crossing the Steeles border if you use YRT/VIVA.
Walk to Highway 7/McCowan
Take VIVA Purple or YRT 1 west to Leslie Street
Take YRT 90 south to Seneca @ Newnham $3.00
or
From Centennial GO Station
Take TTC 129A south to Finch
Take TTC 39 west to Seneca @ Newnham $3.00 + $2.75
or
Walk to Highway 7/McCowan
Take VIVA Green to Seneca @ Newnham RUSH HOUR ONLY $3.00
Seneca @ Markham
Walk to Highway 7/McCowan
Take VIVA Purple or YRT 1 west to Seneca @ Markham (Allstate Parkway) $3.00Last edited by wilson_wu; Apr 14th, 2008 at 08:18 PM.

Thanks.
Now does anyone know if theres like a designated bus that goes directly to seneca markham campus? for example, i know theres a viva at don mills station taht does all the way up to the king campus. Also theres a go train bus at stc that goes to the seneca/york campus. Is there one for the markham campus? and how long does the 129 route take? i plan on leaving stc at around 7:30am.

YRT Trip Planner
Just fill it in. A trip from STC to Seneca Markham will take about 50-60 minutes.
