Best wireless internet adapter for pc?
I'm going to be networking up with a wireless 'g' router and was wondering what you all suggest for an adapter for my pc?
Does it matter if I have a different brand of wireless adapter for my pc?
Futureshop has a linksys wireless g adapter on for $70 right now (30 off). I've heard good reviews about it. Any other recommendation, or is that pretty much it?
The computers will be on 15-25 feet apart.
Thanks

I suggest using the same brand of wireless adapter as the wireless router.

CTY has a linksys one for $30 only

but the software seems to be buggy. It disconnect and won't connect again.
I use a D-Link GWL132 extreme G. It works solidly with WPA. But WPA2 may disconnect sometimes. Again, it's the software problem I think.

Avoid Dlink 624 and most Dlinks. If you don't believe me check amazon.com user ratings.
