Bestbuy HP laptop replace?

I just read an article about 70,000 laptops recalled due to battery fire hazard. Has anyone gone to Bestbuy and gotten a free battery replace? I don't really want to take my battery out as I'm not too handy with these things.

I don't think Best Buy has anything to do with the recall. You have to order the replacement from HP web site. I did the order for my wife's DV6645ca over the weekend.

How did you install the battery at the first place?

Well, me and my 9 year old daughter are still joking about my wife not knowing how to open her laptop due to the HP sign was kind of upside down. So, she was trying to open it from the joint side until my daughter came to RESCUE.
